What is 25% off worth to you?!

Today I found myself hunched over the barrel of our garage trash can, full of this week's filth, sifting through disgusting bags of trash. All the while I'm thinking to myself...."is it really worth it?" Thus the question posed in the title presents itself...what is 25% off at Gymboree children's clothing store worth to you? Apparently to me, a lot. I love Gymboree, and the 25% off coupons only come in the mail once a season with the new lines. I had carefully placed my coupon on our kitchen ledge along with some kohls, bed bath and beyond, and macy's coupons. What happened next?? Only the kitchen gnome knows, but mysteriously they vanished only to return "there"....in the LAST bag of trash I opened at the bottom of the barrel. Most of the coupons were soiled beyond any reward, but the Gymboree discount was salvageable. As I brought it inside with a feeling of satisfaction coupled with disgust, I knew I would write a blog about this endeavor. What analogies can I draw? What parallels can be made? What great philosophical truths can be exposed through this experience? Nah, not today. I think today I just want to admit that because I suffered through the coupon retrieval, I feel justified in spending at least an extra $25 dollars on unnecessary kid's clothes. This is how I felt.
