So, I have become a committed blog reader. It's 90% of my entertainment these days, and I love how real and normal it makes my life feel. A few of my favorite bloggers "link up" with each other on a series called "Friday Favorites". I love it. So this will be my first attempt! Today I'm linking up with Erika, Andrea and Narci and sharing my favorite things from the week.
Blogs...
It would only be fitting on my first link up to share my favorite blogs...

Pinterest Told me To
The first blog that I consistently started reading was... Pinterest Told Me To. The writer of this blog (Sheaffer) is hysterical, relate-able, and she has great style. She links all of her outfits to the online stores, so I have often shopped, purchased, and loved things that she recommends. At times I've had to limit myself from looking at her blog, because she breaks my budget! Ha! She also offers great PSA's like this one...
In reading some of Sheaffer's Bachelor/Bachelorette re-caps (which are also HILARIOUS), I discovered that Sheaffer is BFF's with one of the Bachelor contestant's sister.....which led me to one of my favorite, and most frequented blogs....

Poops and Giggles
My dear friend, Amber, is a bit of blogging celebrity in our church community/circle of friends. She is the mom of 4 beautiful, precious, messy, and ridiculously hilarious children. She is a comedic and creative writer, and I never finish a blog post of hers without tears in my eyes from laughter. She tells it how it is, removes the filters, and honors Christ through it all. In the past year, she and her husband moved out into the country (I mean realllllly out into the country....not suburb style), and her tales of adaptation are awesome. My favorite posts of all time are:
The Struggle is Real
I Really Mustache You a Question
Birth Story, Poops and Giggles Style
Adventures in Being an Introvert ... My love for this one might be slightly selfish, because it references our friendship.

My Blog... Mom to 4 J's
Years ago when the boys were small, and the girls weren't even in the plans, I used to blog. I loved cataloging memories and telling stories that might otherwise be forgotten. I shared struggles and triumphs from my life and work. There were many laughs and tears along the way. For years this blog has laid dormant, and at times I really miss it. Who knows what God has planned for our lives and how often I'll be able to update, but I'm thankful I have it, and I still treasure some of its earliest posts. The "theme" for my blog is This may not be exactly how it happened, but this is how I felt. Just a statement that clarifies that my memories may embellish reality, but I'm all about the feelings. For that reason, I usually end each post with the phrase "this is how I felt". Some of my favorites:
You Can Look But You Can't Touch
This child is my gift....a gift from the King
Tears for Her (a memory of one of my patients)
